Intermediate Level
In this class, students will start with letter and word formation, then. They will progress to simple sentences using high frequency or sight words, then progress to full sentences while dictating with pictures. Toward the end of the course we will be talking about parts of a sentence, such as noun, verb and adjective. Students in this class should be able to recognize all of their letters and letter sounds independently, or with minimal assistance, as we will be blending them together to create different words. During the first two classes of the week, students will practice their writing skills through letter and word formation, interactive slides, and hand on activities (a worksheet will be uploaded prior to class) focusing on a specific word family each class. This is great for learners who need more handwriting practice, learning how to write for the first time, or need help expanding their writing more. Course Set Up is described in detail in the syllabus of this class.
