Assignments
1 hour per week. I plan to give assignments and tips and exercises to help your learner with whatever skill they need developed most. This is highly flexible depending on the learner, and much of this will involve working on their own writing.Class Experience
This class is highly flexible, depending on your learner's needs. As this particular tutoring class is geared toward more intermediate to advanced writers, I expect to be working on developing the writing muscles they have already begun to flex, and this can look like anything from essay editing and development to short story work to guiding your learner step-by-step through writing and refining a book of their own. I tend to be something of a Miss Frizzle in the classroom--I'm encouraging and highly interactive and love really connecting with my students to bring out their skills and confidence while also really tackling content and critiquing in such a way that they can improve and reach their highest potential.
