Assessment
During the process, learner will be assigned various assignments that must be completed before the next class. The teacher will assess those assignments and provide feedback. Learner will also be given informal feedback at the end of class.Class Experience
US Grade 2 - 6
This is a one-on-one writing class designed to build writing skills - whether it is beginning writing or more advanced writing. It will address different areas, such as sentence structure, paragraph structures, kinds of paragraphs, grammar, spelling, puncuation, and the writing process. Teacher will also look for and identify areas of weaknesses and address those areas. Teacher will meet learner at his/her current abilities and work to show improvement and master certain skills. This is a hands on class. Learner will be required to participate - both writing, reading and speaking.
Learning Goals
Students will learn new writing skills and/or improve their current writing skills.

Supply List
Student will need: pencils (not pens); a notebook ( to record notes in one place); and access to information on the Internet, books).
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello my name is Rhonda, and I love the art of teaching and learning. I have been an educator for over 20 years. Although I am certified to teach grades K5-8 all subjects, I also work with young adults who are entering college for the first time and those who are reentering college at an older age. My main areas of interest are centered around Reading, English and Writing. I have taught English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, History, Writing and Math.
