This class is taught in English.
Students will be able to: 1. Write arguments to support claims in an analysis of substantive topics or texts, using valid reasoning and relevant and sufficient evidence. 2. Write informative/explanatory texts to examine and convey complex ideas. 3. Produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience. 4. Develop and strengthen writing as needed by planning, revising, editing, rewriting, or trying a new approach. 5. Use technology, including the Internet, to produce and publish writing and to interact and collaborate with others
I have over nine years of experience teaching composition to learners of all ages.
Homework Offered
Learners will submit final assignments/projects at the end of each unit.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
All assignments submitted on time will receive written feedback and be scored against a rubric.Grades Offered

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
GoogleDocs does require the use of a gmail account. Please ensure your learner has an account set up. Please Note: You can create a Google Account for your child under 13 (or the applicable age in your country), and manage it using Family Link. With Google Accounts, children get access to Google products like Search, Chrome, Blogger and Gmail, and you can set up basic digital ground rules to supervise them. Students under 13 need parental consent to use Canva for Education.
