In this one-time winter & dog-themed class, learners will learn about, plan and write a free verse poem about a dog playing in the snow. Students will actually enjoy thinking about word choice & using figurative language!

Description
Class Experience
Students will write a free verse poem that will include at least two types of figurative language.
I am a certified and experienced English teacher who loves dogs! I have taught creative writing for a number of years and many of my students have had their work published.
Students can send me their poems for feedback and/or write a good copy of their poems if they would like.
I will provide feedback during the class and am happy to provide feedback for students who would like to send me their poem.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
