In this class we will build up sentence writing skills to increase creativity and the use of imaginative and descriptive nouns, adjectives and verb. Special attention will be placed on the use of appropriate capitalization and punctuation.

In classes we will use an on-screen spinner tool to choose from a set of cartoon images to prompt sentence writing. Each student will write their sentence in their notebook, then share their sentence out loud. By listening to different sentences, students will increase their vocabulary and understand that there are many ways to describe an image.
