In this 6-week course students will work on gathering writing ideas, using adjectives, sensory writing, transition words and alternative endings. Students will be given multiple chances to practice their writing and share their great ideas!
Class experience
US Grade 1 - 3
Students will explore ways to generate topics, work through the writing process and practice writing exciting beginnings and endings. Mini lessons focusing on complete sentences and grammar will be incorporated throughout the course. Instruction is enhanced with mentor texts, modeled writing, guided writing and the use of graphic organizers.
