Writing a College Paper - APA Style - Five Paragraph Essay Structure
A one-day course that I teach at the college level to help students understand APA Style format as well as a five-paragraph essay structure. Good to know for any college essay writer.

So, this will be a one-time, one-hour class. I teach English Composition in college, and it amazes me how my students lack confidence at the beginning of the semester and have confidence by the end. This is mainly because I simplify how to write these college essays. The first thing I will do is teach them how to format their essay per APA Style guidelines. Then, I will show them how to outline their narrative essay. We will begin by creating a strong thesis statement, the crux of any essay....
- To improve the student's understanding of the five-paragraph structure, understand how to craft a proper thesis statement, follow APA Style guidelines, and most importantly, gain confidence in writing.
I have a Master's degree in Communication, and I teach this information at the college level.
My daughter is on the spectrum, and I wouldn't have an issue with her taking this class; however, I fully understand that some students might not be comfortable being interactive and participating as I envision this class.
You should have Word because I plan on walking them through the formatting of the essay.
