Students will learn about the various writing strategies that help us become more effective readers. We will look into: 1. Organizing Writing 2. Introductions, topic sentences and how to gain the attention of your reader 3. Developing and summarizing your ideas 4. The power of descriptive details 5.Effectively restating your your purpose in your conclusion Since these are one on one classes we will also cater them to the individual needs of the student. We will begin with a lecture style explanation of the topic and move to a more discussion based approach.

I have a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance and a masters of business administrations.
For younger students I tutor students in math and reading comprehension. My goal is to give students multiple tools and tricks to build their confidence to tackle any problem. With one on one sessions I can better understand the students needs and build lessons plans to cater to them. I am a mother of three and understand that each child has individualized needs in order to succeed.
