In this class students will take a deep dive into many literary devices, like the ones Taylor Swift uses, with poetic magic, in her songs. Students in this class will: ~learn the literary devices listed below ~view examples of each one in multiple Taylor Swift Songs ~find (and share) examples of the figurative language in popular music ~practice using their new writing skills on songs, poems, short stories, or essays ~share writing with classmates and receive feedback Class Experience: 1....
Homework Offered
Students will be expected to work on their mini-keystone project throughout the class so that they will be able to share it at the end.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
