We will have time as authors for a few days working independently before meeting again for our final session where we share our poems. Teacher expertise and credentials
Master's Degree in Education from Portland State University
Making smiles and laughter is my favorite thing to do. I enjoy working with children who are invested in their learning and committed to kindness.
Growing up I was quick to tell stories with puppets, toys, siblings, music, and comedy. As an adult I have found a way to combine all this fun by being a remote, online teacher! My classes are joyous, interactive, expressive, and energetic.
My specialties lie in public speaking, singing, performance, music, ESL, and literacy. I have four years experience as an elementary school classroom teacher. I am currently a music coach and lead singer of a Portland, Oregon-based Blondie tribute band, Glass of Hearts. I acquired my Masters Degree of Education from Portland State University. I am an active and enthusiastic member of the Portland Reading Council & the Oregon State Literacy Association.
+ Costumes are highly encouraged for ANY class.
Current course offerings include:
Puppetry, Beginning French, Recorder, Craft Parties, Literacy, and MORE!
