Come join the team! Come join other WWE fans by joining the Weekly Wrestle Talk Team. Each week we meet and talk about various things surrounding the world of pro wrestling. This is a great place for wrestling fans to come and engage in lively discussions and fun wrestling themed activities. This class is a blast. Keep reading to find out more about how we structure class, syllabus, class inspiration, and coupons! ***CLASS STRUCTURE*** We use slides to guide each class in a smooth and organized way. Each class starts with the Team Meeting and Life Lesson of the Day. You can read more about those on my teaching profile. The Ice Breaker questions change each week and are a fun way to get everyone talking. We talk about what happened on recent shows and share thoughts as well as make predictions for the next big events. We then look at a map to review the latest travel taken by both SmackDown and RAW which is a good way to work on geography. It is always interesting to the students where the superstars have had to drive to get to their most recent shows. Depending on the class we then head into a mix of slides that could come next. I have a sample slideshow below to give you an idea. Each class has a closing activity that ends on a fun note in some sort of game or challenge. Trivia is a good closing activity our closing activity end things on a fun note and a great way to talk about wrestling from the past. We use a slideshow to guide our discussion. I am constantly evolving my classes and trying to make them better. This is a sample class format. -Team Meeting and Life Lesson of the Day. -Ice Breaker. -News/ Highlights/ Pictures From Recent Smackdown and RAW + all PLEs -Make Predictions for each PLE -WWE On The Road Geography -Book the Show Using Rosters -Wrestling With Math -Guess the WrestleMania -Wrestling Joke of the Week -This Day in Wrestling History -Trivia session ***CLASS INSPIRATION*** When I was 12 years old and started watching wrestling I remember my dad saying "Joseph, don't become obsessed with wrestling." It was too late. I was hooked. Now I'm a teacher who, yes, still loves wrestling. I have been to dozens of WWE events including WrestleMania 32, WrestleMania 38, and WrestleMania 40. I found a way to combine my passion for wrestling with my passion for teaching by using Outschool. It has been really fun creating new slides each week that my students will enjoy. I have also found this as a great way to boost students self-confidence. sometimes it's just good to know there are other people that like wrestling out there. Getting to build relationships and help guide young people in some small way down a path of success is pretty cool. ***COST AND COUPONS*** Everyone gets the first class they take with me for free! 🏈🎸🎫🎮👫***ABOUT ME***✈️🌎🏜🗻🌆 🏝
Welcome to my page! I am an elementary classroom teacher during the day and in the evenings I teach a few adult education classes at a local community college. I spent 7 years coaching high school football as both as an assistant and head coach. I love helping young people try to become as prepared for life as possible. I have many things I am passionate about and Outschool provides a great opportunity for me to share some of that knowledge. I love teaching. Math is my jam but I teach science, social studies, language, reading, and writing as well. My wife and I travel quite a bit and love seeing new places. We have a lot of things on the list that we want to see and now that I am not coaching we have a little more time to do that. We are also huge wrestling fans. I have been to three WrestleMania events. I am a huge fan of the entire NFL and keep up on the news year-round from across the league. I also have a passion for finance and the way money works. I love teaching young people about budgeting, paying off debt, saving, investing, and all that goes with it. So come join us as I use Outschool to teach about some of that stuff and more!

🔨✂️📖***LIFE LESSON OF THE DAY***📖✂️🔨
In my classes and on the field I want my students and players to get better at what we are trying to do but I am ultimately concerned with how they develop as people and that they are as prepared for life as possible. That is why I teach my classes in an energetic, personable, passionate, and charismatic way that will keep learners engaged but also work on social skills. I take pride in helping students become better people. Each class will always we will include a short Life Lesson of the Day and Learn From Others Lesson of the Day at the beginning of class. These are short quotes from Horace Jackson Brown Jr.'s books on life lessons. We usually only use a minute or two on these but I believe they are vital. Here are a few examples:
-"Take out the trash without being told."
-"Control what you can control."
-"Be the first to complement the meal when a guest in someone's home."
-"Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you have not planted"
-"Be the first to say hello."
-"Life is like a football game: you can't score without help from others."
-"The greatest wealth is contentment."
-"Never shake a hand while sitting down."
-"You can sleep late but the world doesn't."
-"Life seems to reward those who take one more step when they think they can't."
