Would you rather go ice skating or ice fishing? Would you rather help elves make gifts or help with the reindeer? Would you rather drink hot chocolate or chocolate milk? Join me for a fun class of making choices and practicing social and conversation skills. Students will be given 2 choices in this "Would You Rather" Winter Holiday themed class, and asked to explain WHY they chose that option. This helps students focus on one choice which practices decision-making skills, and using descriptive words to explain why they prefer that choice. All questions will be winter and holiday themed, no religion will be discussed. If we have time, students will be asked to create their own "Would You Rather" question to share with the class, so get your creative juices flowing to think of your own Would You Rather question! This helps students use their creativity and critical thinking skills to create their own question. All of this helps practice our public speaking skills and taking turns with others.
