Hi! My name is Ren, and I’m an Ontario-trained elementary teacher with an additional qualification in Intermediate Health and Physical Education. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in a variety of settings, from the bustling city of London, England, to vibrant Toronto, Ontario, and scenic New Zealand. I've taught students ranging from 3 to 14 years old, giving me a broad understanding of different educational needs and learning styles.

On Outschool, I offer a range of interactive classes that focus on reading, writing, science, social studies, and more! My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every student feels heard and valued. I believe in engaging students through creative activities, encouraging critical thinking, and building their confidence in a collaborative, safe learning space.

When I’m not teaching, you can find me enjoying outdoor adventures, reading, playing board games, spending time with family and friends, or trying out new recipes. I love bringing a sense of curiosity and fun into my classroom to inspire students to explore new ideas and interests!
