Beginner - Intermediate Level
Through discussion of engaging slides plus playing Quizizz and Blooket games, students will demonstrate their understanding of the major causes of WW I.  The implications of militarism, alliances, imperialism and militarism will receive special attention as well as the major countries comprising the Allies and Central Powers. Elements of geography will also be included with the use of a European map as well as a Quizizz exercise in which students can demonstrate their ability to identify the major powers involved in World War One.
