Students are urged to join in the discussion. I have been teaching these topics for many years. I am certified and qualified to teach on marginalized groups and topics in relation to History due to my certification to do so.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
We will cover early eras, events, and cultures which might include discussion of servants, human sacrifice, aspects of world religions, invasions, violence, and anything else relating to the history of civilizations and eras. We will also discuss major wars, including our most recent, and sensitive events such as 911 and other events shaping the world.

I am not teaching to share my opinion on the topics, I am teaching the events as recorded in history and in the textbooks listed below. We will have discussions on these topics throughout, but my goal is to initiate open conversations on some of these events so they learn about them, but also get to have projects on them as well. Students also need to have access to Google Drive to access the folder with resources I send weekly.
The sources used for the content taught will come from a variety of sources including:
World History textbook (McGraw Hill)
World History textbook (Glencoe)
World Cultures textbook (Prentice Hall)
US History textbook (McGraw Hill)

Websites include:
https://phi.history.ucla.edu/nchs/world-history-content-standards/
History.com
Biography.com
Britanica.com

Students would need Google Drive to access all the work and resources I provide.
