Private (1-to-1), 45-minute live workshop for dyslexic learners age 7-9 to practice phonemic awareness, identify syllable types, and to learn decoding skills in an interactive and meaningful way.

Wordy Workshop provides multi-sensory reading and spelling instruction in a fun and engaging way. Your child will develop a deeper understanding of the speech sounds, syllable types, and spelling patterns that make up the words we speak, read, and spell. Each learner-directed workshop is lively, engaging, and interactive with lots of repetition and opportunities for practice. Your child will learn how to decode words and become a skilled and fluent reader with increased comprehension and confidence.
I taught grades 1-4 in Palm Beach County Public Schools for 15 years before becoming a certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist and starting my own practice in 2018. I work with children one-to- one in live Zoom sessions, and I love to see the transformation from struggling reader to skilled reader and witness the confidence and excitement that they express.
