Over 5 days we'll cover Squid Octopuses Cuttlefish Nautiluses Spirula Bivalves Snails slugs We'll cover the evolution of these species, anatomical features, life cycles, predation, defenses, and the ecological principles that govern how these animals interact with their environment. My teaching style is through showing pictures, fostering dialogue, pointing out and discussing features, and asking questions of my students. The primary teaching tool will be a slide show, but students should feel free to discuss, ask questions, and chat using the chat tools, and annotation tools. Students will not require any prior experience or knowledge. Any complicated words will be explained and have definitions available.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Washington Teaching Certificate in Science
Before I was a science teacher I worked as a molecular biologist. It was a rewarding experience but what I was really interested was working as a teacher. It was the best decision I could have made. I really love hanging out with my students and teaching them science. I'm looking forward teaching a broader range of things to a different kinds of kids.
Also I've been doing this for nearly a year on Outschool
