Week by week breakdown:

🍫Week 1: Dive into the Prologue to Chapter 3, where we'll introduce the background and discuss chapters. Bring a mystery chocolate to class and challenge your peers to guess its identity!

🍫Week 2: Explore Chapters 4 - 6 for a closer look at Wonka's settings and themes. Engage in group work to explore colors, settings, and sounds.

🍫Week 3: Unravel Chapters 7 - 9 and delve into character development. Get ready to make chocolate at home and share your creations next class!

🍫Week 4: Chapters 10 - 12 bring discussions about the book and a chocolate show-and-tell. Design and construct packaging nets for your imaginative chocolate creations.

🍫Week 5: Analyze Chapters 13 - 15 and embark on a creative journey to design your own Chocolate shop. Engage in a fascinating S.T.E.M. Hot Chocolate Experiment for homework!

🍫Week 6: Chapters 16 - 18 lead to discussions and comprehension games. Explore a creative writing project on who you'd share your chocolate creation with.

🍫Week 7: Discover Chapters 19 - 21 with vocabulary games and an interactive session on 'Where Chocolate Comes From'.

🍫Week 8: Chapters 22 - 24 involve sensory reading and crafting persuasive letters to Wonka for a chance to get hired!

Week 3: Plain Chocolate bar and ingredients to add eg. marshmallows, biscuits/sweets

Week 5 : Hot chocolate & marshmallows (mini or other)

Week 9 : Chocolate cup pudding (x2) and cornstarch
