Class Experience

This class will be more of a lecture-style (yet interactive) class with a PowerPoint, photos, some personal video footage or photos with whales, and fascinating facts about these amazing creatures. We will have conversations about these animals and students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss.
I have had a couple of up close and personal experiences as a SCUBA diver with whales as those experiences will be expressed in my teachings to make things more interactive and fun! I have been a Certified Open Water Diver for 25 + years.
Students will learn or improve their knowledge about the different whales mentioned in the description, what makes them different, description, weight, what they eat, and where they may be found in the oceans of the world.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
