The students will learn about Josephines' wonderful life and how she danced her way out of poverty in St Louis to a flourishing career in France before becoming a spy during WW2 . During this class, students will have an opportunity to learn a signature dance from the 1920's which was made famous by Josephine Baker. This class is very interactive and will introduce students to a positive, successful black female figure from history . Students will have an opportunity to ask and answer questions about Josephine's life through this story time lesson.
