Come and join us as we take a look at the life, education, and many contributions that Marie Curie made. The first 20-30 minutes of the class will consist of a powerpoint presentation that will include a detailed look at her childhood, education, travels, and contributions the field of science. We will examine her contributions during the war, and learn about her daughter and grandchildren. This class may include some short videos.  The last 10-15 minutes of class will be an open discussion of what we have learned and answer any questions that the students may have.
