Class Experience

All wizards and witches welcome to this fun and interactive game! Students will play a full game of Jeopardy, with all clues and questions related to Harry Potter. The goal is to score as many "House Points" as possible. The following categories are featured: Spells, Places, Characters, Magical Creatures, and Movies. The teacher will encourage group interaction, control the game board, read the clues, and keep score. The winner gets named Minister of Magic and bragging rights. 

Students should have some prior knowledge of Harry Potter to participate.

If we have extra time, we will discuss Harry Potter - our favorite characters, books, movies, and anything else that comes up in conversation! Students will practice social skills by listening to others and sharing their own opinions.

Hi everybody! My name is Miss Michelle. I love to explore all different types of hobbies, and I am so excited to teach you using creative outlets such as writing, music, photography, baking, and art. 

I have a Master's Degree in Secondary English Education, so I love teaching about literature, reading, and especially writing. One of my favorite things about teaching English is helping students believe in their own voice and become confident writers.
