US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this 1- time winter beak class for preschool and kindergarten learners, we will use fine motor skills, shapes and creativity to create a paper plate gingerbread man! After reading our gingerbread man story, children will have access to a template of shapes that I will post in the classroom, that they will use to create their gingerbread face on their paper plate. We will talk about shapes, sizes, colors and art skills as we go through the process together to make this gingerbread craft....
Learners will work on their fine motor skills, art skills, shapes, color, following directions and creativity in this craft class.
Hello! I am a licensed/certified teacher in preschool- elementary. I have 15+ years of experience teaching in and working in preschool, PreK and early elementary classrooms. I have years of experience creating fun and playful activities for early learners.
Children will need 1 paper plate crayons ( brown, and other colors of their choice) Child safe scissors glue stick
This class requires the use of scissors to cut out some of the craft pieces. I recommend kid sized, made for kids ( less sharp) scissors for this. If your child needs supervision while cutting safely, please plan to be present or near during parts of this class.
