Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 3
❄️ Welcome to this Winter in Minecraft STEAM course for young Minecraft players. I am so glad you are here. I cannot wait to see what your learner creates. This asynchronous course is full of simple Minecraft lesson tutorials, a Minecraft read aloud for early readers, fun activity pages that I create myself infusing academics, Minecraft, and problem-solving, and plenty of build ideas for young Minecraft players.

➡️10 fun, engaging, inspiring, and informative educator created Minecraft lesson tutorial videos including creating seasonal banners, winter holidays builds for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and seasonal builds, Minecraft experience challenges for learners, and bonus Minecraft themed activity pages including mazes, a book review writing document, and a printing optional math activity page that I have created in homeschooling my own young Minecrafter and for our class! I will also post a Minecraft book read aloud for early readers using an engaging book reading style. I will be reading with author permission: The Stolen Presents: A Christmas Story: An Unofficial Minecraft Hidden Objects Book for Early Readers by Anna Kopp.

➡️ Learners do not need to be able to read, or have copies of the book used, to actively participate in this course. I respond quickly to all learner questions and posts. I continuously strive for inclusion. I am responsive, engaging, and empowering.

➡️ Learners are encouraged to respond to experience & build challenges & discussion questions if they wish, posting images/screen recordings/descriptions, with their grown-up's assistance if needed, of their art/craft/ Minecraft builds.

Notes:
*This is an asynchronous course with no live class meetings.

*The contents of this course are not an official Minecraft product and are not approved by or associated with Mojang.

*The course image was created from a screenshot within my own private world creation within Minecraft.

*All worksheets and materials used in class were created by me, other than when displaying the print/digital book by Anna Kopp, which is used with author permission.
