In this 2-day camp, learners will focus on nouns, verbs, addition & subtraction. This class will enhance you learners reading & math skills. I have 6 years of experience teaching Pre-K to 2nd grade. I use games to make learning fun!

Welcome to Winter Break: Reading & Math Camp! If you want to help your child catch up on missed learning, this class is a great start! This is a structured supplemental class during the Winter break. It has movement, instruction, and interactive elements. This is a great class for all levels of 1st & 2nd grade students. It is also ESL-friendly. My classes follow Florida and Arizona state standards. This ensures students learn a curriculum that supports their growth. Materials: I provide a PDF of Lesson Worksheets. Class Routine: Each lesson starts with warm-up activities like Calendar and Time Rhymes ⏰ THEMES & BREAKDOWN: Week of December 23: 🎄Christmas🎄 Monday (Reading) - Nouns & Verbs Week of December 30: 🎆New Year!🎆 Monday (Reading) - Addition & Subtraction ⭐️Students may be muted at times to reduce noise; assistance in unmuting is encouraged. I ask that learners stay on video during class. It ensures engagement and understanding. ⭐️I will open up more sections. Kahoot (In Class) - We will use Kahoot, during class, in a screen-share format. An extra device is not required. Students will have the opportunity to select their own answers.
Youtube (In Class) - We will use Youtube, during class, in a screen-share format. We will use Youtube for movement through counting, academic songs, and as a timer.
Supply List
Please print the lesson worksheets before class. Learners can also use blank or notebook paper. Please make sure your student has a pencil pouch close by that contains: ‣Pencils ‣Erasers ‣Coloring supplies (crayons, markers, colored pencils) ‣Scissor ‣Glue/glue stick.
