In this class, we will be covering various third-grade skills. Below is a list of the skills we will be learning. Please note that you will receive the 20-week supply list one week before enrolling in the class. It's important to be aware that some supplies may change, and the teacher will provide updates two weeks in advance. Weekly Supplies and Recommendations for Your Child's Learning Dear Parents, We would like to provide you with a list of essential supplies required on a weekly basis to ensure your child's preparedness for class. In addition to these general items, there will be specific project-related supplies announced each week, and a comprehensive attachment detailing the semester's requirements will be shared upon enrollment. It is of utmost importance that your child comes to class well-prepared. Please ensure that they have the following items for their regular use: A dedicated notebook for creative writing (This will be used during our creative writing sessions, and each learner should have their own). 16 index cards for spelling words.( Per Week) Pencils. Markers. Colored pencils. Crayons. A drawing pad (This will be utilized weekly for activities related to our book of the week). Legos or building blocks (These will be specifically employed on Tuesdays). A folder or a 3-ring binder for our geography lessons and maps. Weekly templates of worksheets. An English project notebook. Scissors. Glue. In addition to the essentials listed above, we also recommend the following supplies: A craft kit (These kits can be purchased on Amazon). Watercolor paint. Paintbrushes. Acrylic paints. Air-dry clay (We will be engaging in several craft projects). Gummy bear molds. Silicone molds (These will be used in at least three different projects). A set of measuring cups and spoons. Mixing bowl. We understand that providing these supplies will greatly enhance your child's learning experience, and we appreciate your cooperation in this matter. To guarantee a successful learning experience, please consider the following: Cooking and Science Activities: At times, we will be engaging in cooking and using supplies for science experiments. Kindly ensure that your child is comfortable with these activities. If there are any concerns, please stay close by to provide support. Stretching Exercises: We will also be incorporating stretching exercises into our curriculum. To participate effectively, your child will need adequate space. Please make sure they have an area available for these activities. Class Supplies: Please double-check that your child has all the necessary supplies required for our class.
