Class Experience
In the beginning of class we will chat about Wings of Fire and go over a new problem I create in the world of Wings of Fire and the students will then break out into small groups to write a story and come up with ideas on how to solve that problem or write fan fictions of their own. We will be taking the knowledge we have of the land of Pyrrhia and Pantala to make our stories and solutions. We will avoid Animus magic as it destroys the soul of the user. This will ensure lots of creative...
There will not be formal instruction on grammar or paragraph development. The idea is to let their creativity flow and allow them to freely express those ideas without having to worry about conventions.
I have enjoyed teaching almost 1000 learners about dragons and the Wings of Fire series. The kids are so excited about it and it provides a great universe that we can explore creativity and problem solving in.

At the end of each class, each group will present their story and solution to the rest of us.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
google docs will be used heavily. Having a student being able to use a second device to write and share their ideas on will be very helpful for them.
