Class Experience

US Grade 8 - 11
This class will provide learners with an overview of the ongoing natural recolonization of black bears into Kentucky. We'll use this general topic to discuss concepts of modern wildlife management, species recovery, and ecosystem restoration. I will use photos and stories from my time as a field biologist with a state wildlife agency to present these topics. This course is lecture-based, but learners are encouraged to ask questions throughout the presentation and during a brief Q&A section at the end.
