This class will review and build on that skill by introducing three strategies for calming and refocusing to help solve a problem. This course focuses on problem solving skills which are useful across various settings and at all ages. I have had more than 3 years of experience teaching lessons regarding problem solving skills as a School Counselor. I have taught these topics using multiple different curriculum programs that align with most state standards for Character Learning or Social Emotional Learning. Previously, I spent time teaching a special education pre- school class where there was a heavy focus on character learning and problem solving skills which are broken down to help young learners practice and apply these skills in their day to day lives.
