What's up with All the Poop?

Poop is such a wonderfully fun and gross topic that all littles are sure to enjoy it! We talk about people poop and animal poop, how it helps our environment, and what we can learn from it.

Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - 1
Based on the book entitled "Where does Poop Go" by Katie Daynes, this one-time hilarious class is sure to keep your kids laughing. I'll read the book to them and discuss each topic as it's presented. Examples include where our poop goes after it leaves our potty, where animals poop and why, how Mother Nature handles all that animal poop, why poop looks different for different animals, how it benefits us, and what we can learn from from the stinky stuff. Kids are welcome to chime in with their poop stories as well! This is a great class for kids who are potty training but are reluctant poopers!
Learning Goals
Students should enjoy the class and realize poop isn't ALL bad.

Hi there! My name is Ms. Kelly and I am currently teaching elementary STEM. I graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a Bachelor's degree in secondary education, in Latin, Speech, and Theatre/Acting. I also completed premedical studies and spent 26 years in healthcare. My talents and hobbies include writing, ceramics, and gardening, and I am an award-winning amateur photographer. With my passions in mind, I teach phonics, spelling, and writing to our young kids, science and writing to middle schoolers, and Latin to all ages including high schoolers. I also have a lot of experience with gifted children and their unique educational needs.

Also, as a mom of three ADHD boys, I know that sitting still and listening doesn't equate to learning. Kids learn best when they're moving and having fun, so humor and silliness play a big role in all my classes, so expect classes that are interactive and upbeat, in order to keep the kids engaged. I hope to see your learners in class soon!
