Class experience

US Grade 2 - 3
Intermediate Level
Students will gain confidence in decoding words with an -ed suffix which will also help their overall reading fluency.
I have been an elementary school teacher for the past 22 years, the last 10 of which have been teaching small-group reading intervention classes, mostly 2nd-5th grades, helping fill in the reading gaps of my students, whether it be in word work (phonics) or comprehension.
Students in this class should be able to decode simple two-syllable words and read common sight words,
If your student wants to write down example words for the four sounds of -ed, have paper/pencil or whiteboard/marker handy.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
