Keep practicing the clock!Class Experience
Beginning with a song and dance, I will introduce the concept of the clock to the students. Terminology such as: hour, half hour, quarter til, quarter after, minutes and seconds will all be discussed. The students will then create and label their own paper clocks (PDF printout provided before class). I will read "What time is it, Mr. Crocodile?", to the students while we will practice telling time to the quarters of the hour. This is a great introduction into telling time, or a good review, for anyone who needs it.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the clock face, numbers and hands, as well as, time to the quarters of the hour intervals.

Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom (including 4th grade and Texas History); substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level (History); assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I have worked with early education all the way up to the community college level. My Bachelors is in childhood education with a Master's in American History.
