US Grade 4 - 6
Note:
I have recently accepted a full-time position and now teach very few classes on Outschool. At this time, I am unable to accommodate class requests. Thank you!

In the first installment of this series, students learned how to increase their chances of surviving a bear attack, quicksand, downed power lines and more. In this SECOND installment, science, nature, and survival-loving students will explore strategies for surviving seven improbable scenarios, including being:

-A tsunami
-A tornado
-A dog attack
-Your car sinking in water
-Being swallowed by an anaconda
-A shark attack
-Being locked in a trunk

Students do NOT need to have taken part 1 to appreciate this class, they may be taken in any order.

I use a self-made PowerPoint, pictures, a few short videos, discussion, questioning, lots of humor, and some low-stress quiz questions to keep the instruction fun and engaging, yet educational, too. No outside websites or logins of any kind are needed as I use screenshare to present all the content. Students will learn WHAT to do and hilariously what definitely NOT to do in these unlikely situations.

I am an experienced and enthusiastic educator, and accommodate all learners in my classroom. :)
