Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 6
This is a one-time class that will identify cells. There will be 11 vocabulary words covered during this class session. The words will be presented in a PowerPoint presentation format. I will engage each Learner in reading and answering questions. My class is a learner-based class. My goal is for each student to feel safe and confident in interacting with me and their classmates. If the Learner is shy, that is fine, they do not have to participate until they are ready. There is no pressure in my class. We are here to learn and build confidence. The Learner will be able to interact with me during the entire class. I will give each student a turn in speaking, reading, and answering questions. If the Learner has a question and it is not their turn, I ask that they "raise" their hand so that I can call on them for their question or either wait until their turn. There is no required knowledge for this class. This is a basic overview of renewable and nonrenewable resources. This is a good introductory class or refresher class about cells.
