Class Experience

Learn about the coolest animals in Australia and what people are doing to keep them and other wildlife safe from the dangers of the Earth and humans.

*This class is not an actual school credit, but it is merely a fun and interesting class for those interested in the Irwins and helping this world’s amazing creatures.*

In this class we will learn about the life and legacy of Steve Irwin, nicknamed "The Crocodile Hunter". Steve was an Australian zookeeper, television personality, wildlife expert, environmentalist and conservationist. His legacy still lives on from his amazing family. Let’s learn about how they are continuing the work he started.

We will discuss several different Australian wild animals in detail with pictures and guided discussion. If you are an animal lover this class if for you.

3. Information on the Australia Zoo and foundation and how learners can help play a part in wildlife conservation in their own preferred way

5. Some of Australia’s coolest animals:

6. Time to finish report (from pre-class work, research and ask questions)
7. Share wild animal reports (if any of the learners are ready to present it. If it is not complete, students will have the opportunity to share their findings in the classroom section sometime after class.)
