Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
When did a polar bear live in central London? Why could bread be dangerous? Who designed the first space craft? How did Victorians brush their teeth? If your child has lots of questions about the past that standard history books don't answer, this is the course for them.

In this class, students will learn weird, wacky and yucky facts about different time periods in history. Each week will focus on a different theme. Learning will be discussion based and learners will be encouraged to give their opinions about the past. A variety of images will be shared during the sessions to promote learning. These will be a combination of age appropriate primary and secondary images.

No prior knowledge is need for this course, however, it would be useful if your learner can understand the passing of time (e.g. have a concept that 1000 years ago is before 100 years ago). There will be some writing on the slides, however, I will also talk through the words.
