Description
Class Experience
Each week during this 6 week course, the learner will take photographs based on a topic; tips, and techniques provided by instructor. A photoshoot guide will be provided (PDF) tips. The topics for each week will be given on live meeting times. Students will be challenged to take pictures of the technique they learn each week. Students will learn the skills of photography composition through fun weekly topics, tips, and photographic techniques. Students will build their photography vocabulary and confidence through sharing their photographs.
Students will take photographs using a cell phone or digital camera to share based on the topic of the week.

Weekly photo sharing is a great way to build confidence and creativity.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will be using Google Slides to share their weekly photographs in the Shared Gallery Google Slide. I will provide the link for the shared Google Slide "Photo Gallery." Each week the students will add their photograph so that we can view them together. This builds confidence and provides an opportunity to show their photographic skills.
All of the resources are created by me, I use my own images to show students as references for the topics they will be photographing. Example: In the first week the students will gather objects that relate to something that tells a story about them or represents a hobby they like. I show the students an image I photographed of my paintbrush, paint pallet, paper, waterglass to represent that I am an artist.
