Welcome to Minecraft Bedrock Club! Learners will get together weekly to play Minecraft: Creative Mode. We will build and share our individual projects with each other. Learners will have the opportunity to show their work and share tips with other learners. They can also work together to create shared projects. Players have the ability to fly around the map and are immune to death. This is a great game for learners to express themselves through their creativity by building unique worlds together. Learners will build relationships with each other by participating in this ongoing class. They will be able to save projects and come back to them each week. The most important thing to know about this class is that we are always respectful of each other in the class, regardless of how familiar someone may or may not be with the game. There will be absolutely NO destruction of someone else's property. If someone allows you to modify their creation that is okay but otherwise, students should not touch someone else's build. In this class we will support each other and respect one another. There is plenty of room in this shared world to create your own home so there is no need to modify anyone else's. Required Materials: Minecraft: Bedrock Edition - Purchased and installed (available on various consoles, mobile devices, and Windows 10) IMPORTANT FOR SET UP: If possible, please send me your gamertag when you sign up for the class so that I can add you ahead of time. This way, you can start playing right away when class starts. :) Learners should have a base understanding of how to join another player's world. Unfortunately, I don't have time during each class to show each learner how to register and join a world as it takes away from the gameplay time. Please make sure you are registered for the correct version of Minecraft (bedrock) and that you know how to accept a friend request, accept an invite to another world and join another world. If a learner joins the class and is unable to play due to lack of knowledge on how to accept requests or join a game no refund will be issued. Please don't hesitate to message me before the class time if you need any help setting up your account. I am happy to help answer any questions (as best I can) about set up before class. Thank you for your understanding!

Meet the Teachers!
🎮 Mr. Vaughn, B.A., TESOL
Hi, my name is Vaughn! I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I love spending time with my 1-year-old son, my wife, Ms. Kait and our cat, Milo. 🐈⬛
While completing my bachelor's degree, I began teaching ESL online in 2019. Since then, I have branched out to the wonderfully diverse Outschool platform.
The thing I love about Outschool is that I can teach about the things I am truly passionate about, which include video games, anime, pop culture, and guitar. I always aim to find the best ways to engage my learners so that they will have an exciting and memorable learning experience. 💫
🎮 Ms. Kait, B.A. Intercultural Studies, TESOL
Hello, I'm Ms. Kait! I have been teaching online for 6 years, predominantly focusing on English as a Second Language. Recently, I transitioned to hosting gaming classes and I couldn't be more excited about it! As a lover of games like Zelda, Roblox, and Mario Party, I believe in creating a safe and engaging environment for all kids to learn in. I can't wait to meet you in one of my gaming, Harry Potter or Marvel classes!
