Welcome to Web Development & Design with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! In this engaging class, students will dive into the fundamentals of creating and designing their own websites. Through hands-on projects and interactive lessons, they will learn how to build and style web pages, implement interactive features, and understand the principles of effective web design. This course is designed to be both fun and educational, providing students with the skills to bring their digital ideas to life.

She enjoys showing young minds how technology is used in everyday life and how we can use that technology to problem solve, be creative with graphic design and create really cool programs with basic coding skills that use some mathematical principles.
Laura Schuhwerk is a dedicated art educator with a bachelor's degree in fine art from Webster University and a master's in art education from the University of Missouri St. Louis. Laura holds a Missouri teaching certification in art for grades K-12 and has 11 years of experience teaching middle and high school art, STEAM, and technology. Her passion for integrating technology into the arts has led her to attend numerous professional development workshops on educational technology, including graphic design, computer programming, and other tech applications.
