Intermediate - Advanced Level
Embark on a comprehensive 12-week course designed to provide a hands-on experience in developing modern web applications using Vue.js. This course is aimed at students with a fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript who are looking to enhance their skills in front-end development. Throughout the course, participants will work towards creating a functional pizza ordering web application, focusing on user interface design and state management. By following a structured curriculum, learners will delve into the key aspects of web application development, leveraging Vue.js as the core front-end framework. Topics will include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.Js. Classes are taught in 45 minute segments with a short presentation followed by code demonstration. Learners are encouraged to write along on their computers. There is not much interaction between learners - this is a lecture style course.

Introduction to Vue.js and GitHub Pages
Overview of the Vue.js framework and setting up our directory and assets for the project. Also go over where we'll be storing and hosting the project - GitHub Pages. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Designing the App in pseudocode
Whiteboard our app's logic and the components we will need to write. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Create our pages and views

Code - write the Vue.JS app main file

Pre-Requisites
This is an advanced class!
Learners should have a solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Specifically, they should be familiar with JS concepts such as arrays, objects, methods, and APIs.
GitHub experience is recommended.
Supply List
Learners will need a laptop that they are comfortable interfacing with the CLI. They will also need a GitHub account.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
