Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this 30 minute ongoing class, learners will share stories, ask questions, and make friends with other pet owners. All learners are welcome, but those who currently own pets may find that they feel more comfortable with the content. Each week, the topics will be learner led. When needed, I will guide the discussion. All learners will be encouraged to participate in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Possible discussion topics could include: how the pet became a member of the family, naming a pet, feeding, toys, funny stories, challenges that learners have faced with their pets, where pets sleep, how to help pets feel safe.
Learning Goals
Learners will learn about pets from other learners, make new friends, practice social skills, and practice how to communicate clearly and effectively.
