50 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Ready to get creative with friends? In this one-time 50 minute long class we will embrace our inner artist as we paint a colorful flower scene together! This will be a fun and engaging class. No knowledge or experience required - just some paint, brushes, paper, and a creative mind. We will be working with watercolor paint and crayon (or colored pencil) in this class and will be touching upon many of the basic techniques in painting with watercolor such as paint blending, brush stroke and movement, color mixing, water application, proper brush usage and more. Learners will follow along as the instructor demonstrates each element of the painting step-by-step until completion of each student’s very own masterpiece! Never painted before? No problem! Miss Alisa has got you covered! Pablo Picasso once said “Every child is an artist.” He was right! We all have our own lovely colors to throw on the world!
Learning Goals
This fun class will help students bring out their inner artist while learning basic techniques in painting with watercolors as well as a few fun and interesting tricks. We will also be doing some drawing and planning of our own compositions.
