A step by step acrylic lesson on painting pond and water lilies, using reflections and the layering of water lilies to create depth. Students will develop imagination and creativity and ability to mix colors on a palette. We will begin by analyzing the sample image. I will teach the students how to plan the painting. I will be painting along with kids. We will make a sketch. And after will apply the colors. Supply list: Canvas, canvas board or paper 11"x14" or 12"X16" Please do not use a larger canvas. It is very difficult for them to paint on the large surface, and they will be behind the class. Acrylic paint, brushes, paper or plastic plate for color mixing. Paper towel.
