Beginner Level
In this engaging and creative class, we will explore the unique medium of water color. Unlike oil painting, where we work from dark to light, water color techniques emphasize painting from light to dark. We will begin by using our drawing skills to create foundational sketches for our paintings. Once the sketches are complete, I will demonstrate how to paint step by step and we’ll dive into the painting process, applying the distinctive light-to-dark water color method. Along the way, we’ll learn about color mixing and the basics of color theory. Our self-paced lessons will cover a variety of subjects, including flowers, landscapes, fruits, vegetables, and still lives. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *PLEASE NOTE This is a self-paced class. There are NO LIVE classes. There are 8 pre-recorded video lessons. Each video lesson is approximately 20 to 30 minutes in length. *STUDENT ENGAGEMENT: Students are welcome to post their paintings for review. I will respond promptly! All class projects will take approximately one hour to complete. Video Lessons are approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Water Color Painting
*****5 Stars
This was a good beginning water color class for my 10 year old. My daughter was usually waiting for the teacher for the next step, so it was slow paced for younger students. Each class was using the same techniques with a different picture.
