Class experience
Typically taught in class 4 The Norse Mythology block is based on Waldorf methods and includes hands-on learning and concepts typically used in Waldorf education. We will explore the pantheon of the Norse gods as well as the history of Norse mythology and its origins. Composition writing and drawing will be included as part of the lessons. We will also do some hands-on projects including luceting and nalbinding. Finally, students will also create a monologue to present in our final class....
Students Will Need The Following: Main Lesson Book Colored Pencils Lucet or Fork Knitter Wool Yarn Parents may also want to purchase a copy of D'Aulaire's Book of Norse Mythology as we will be relying heavily on it for our stories. It's a beautiful book and although not required, it is definitely worth the investment.
