- Students will hear tales of birds from cultures around the world.
- Students will understand the archetypal character of bird along with analyzing symbolism of these birds.
- Students will work on deeper thinking skills of character analysis.
- Students will work on writing and handwriting skills.
B.S. Psychology Yale University Overcoming Dyslexia Certificate (IP) Master's work in Counseling and Library Science Rapid Transformational Therapy Certified Vimala cursive coaching and course completed I worked as a librarian at a Waldorf school for six years working closely with grades 1-12 before transitioning to my teaching on Outschool. I teach Waldorf students and other students (including ESL) around the world now as a private reading and writing teacher. I have also taken private courses in archetypes and studied the work of Carl Jung as a B.S. Psychology student. I am also a published writer. I lived on a Navajo reservation for several summers. I also have Masters classes in Library Science, Human Services, as well as diversity training. I ran a middle and high school library at the Waldorf school where I taught creative writing, library, and research classes for six years.

Frequency: includedDetails: Ms. Jodi will give feedback of any assignments handed in during the course. She will also give feedback to parents at the end of the course and is available to give feedback anytime by request.
This class is amazing for learners with ADHD, Autism, Apraxia, and more... Ms. Jodi is experienced with working with students of all different learning abilities and will adapt the class for each individual that she works with.

We will use youtube videos to listen to some of the bird calls.
I use Epic as my online library source for books referenced. I use a mix of Native Authors and retelling of other sources in order to provide age appropriate material. I am Raven is written by Métis author, David Bouchard and illustrated by west coast First Nations artist Andy Everson.
