If your child has lots of questions about the past that standard history books don't answer, this is the course for them. In this class, students will learn weird, wacky and yucky facts about different time periods in history. Each week will focus on a different theme. I am a trained school teacher and have a history PhD. I have taught history to learners from the age of 3 to the post graduate level.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
In this class, we will be talking about a lot of 'yucky' facts, which will include references to poop and pee. We will also be talking about some unusual medical treatments from the past - some of which caused illness. This will be presented in an age appropriate way. Please ensure that you and your learner are comfortable discussing these topics before enrolling.
