Class Experience
This one-time class will help students and parents get setup in VR. We will work on creating our VR classroom using Meta Horizon Workrooms. Students need to have a Meta account in order to use the Workrooms app (parental assistance will be needed). I will work with the parents and students over Zoom to make sure we can get everything setup. Then once we are in the classroom we will try using the desk and whiteboard. This class is purely for getting setup, as it can take some time. Students will need a Meta Quest 2 headset and parent supervision. This class is best for students Grade 6 and up. Because this is also a class to get 'setup' in VR I will provide a 75% refund after the class. I love teaching in VR and want to get as many students familiar with it as possible; it really can work wonders. If you are a parent curious in VR learning please send me a message!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Music or Theatre or Arts from University of Toronto
Hello! I am an online teacher with 4+ years experience.
I have been teaching learners for many years in Toronto and abroad and strive to make my classes engaging and fun. I believe that learning should be social so I encourage students to participate and discover together. I love learning and sharing ideas about math, science, history, music, English, and much more. Students are always welcome to ask for help or clarification.
In Toronto, I run a nonprofit providing free tutoring and hope to grow this project to help students in Canada.
My favourite dish to cook is Thai curry!
