Parental Guidance
I do want to take appropriate action to make you aware of the potential hazards of the game of volleyball as well as injuries that can occur if not properly supervised by an adult. Such injuries could include but are not limited to, rolled or sprained ankles, bruising of the forearms, knees, and shins, dehydration, and sore muscles. In order to avoid such circumstances, learners are advised to have an open space for working out, proper fitting athletic footwear and clothing, and a water bottle. As an educator, my goal is to help your learner avoid injury and have fun learning. I hope this will help you make an informed decision about whether this class is a good fit for you learner and ensure that your learner is prepared for this class.

My experience with volleyball began when I started playing in Jr. High. I went on to play all throughout my highschool years, as well as a collegiate athlete. I have now coached volleyball through private lessons for 4 years. I have also coached 2 years in youth leagues as well as 2 years of highschool. One of my highschool teams even went on to play at a national level!
